The first Seated Tasting with Holloran Wine Pairings took place on May 26, 2018, at the winery, catered by Chef Lauren Carr of Artemis Foods and hosted by Bill and Eve, with help from assistant winemaker Suzy. Set in the newly-appointed kitchen area upstairs at the winery, the northern views of the vineyards were stunning as was the wine and food.

If you’ve ever visited our winery on a Saturday or Sunday, you know how frustrating the congestion can be driving on Highway 99 through Newberg and Dundee. But there’s good news—in January, the Newberg-Dundee Bypass was officially opened. This 11 mile road should eliminate much of the traffic, especially big trucks, that can make the trip longer than it should be.

The Oregon Tempranillo Alliance held its annual Celebration and Grand Tasting Sunday, January 21 in Portland. Twenty-seven wineries from across Oregon, including Holloran Vineyard Wines, got together to pour a variety of Tempranillos. Bill brought two vintages to share—a 2015 Holloran Tempranillo Eola-Amity Hills and a 2014 Holloran Tempranillo La Chenaie.

On Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19, and then again on Friday, November 24, the winery held an open house and party.
There were six wines featured. The white wines included a 2013 Chardonnay Le Pavillon, a 2015 Riesling Le Pavillon, and a Late Harvest 2015 Riesling. The reds were a 2014 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley, a 2014 Pinot Noir Le Pavillon, and a 2015 Tempranillo Eola-Amity Hills.
