Unique soils and terroir combined with careful farming produce wines that speak to their origins. Small lot processing and fermentations are followed by very gentle pressing, to provide for purity of flavors and support development of complex aromas. We never rush the wines through the cellar. Our top barrel aged Pinot noir wines see 18 months of barrel time, using the finest French oak cooperage.
Our wines are made following Old World traditions. We do not strive for maximum extraction and “big” flavors; rather we allow the unique characteristics of each vintage and vineyard to shine through, emphasizing purity of flavors. Bright acidity makes our wines ideal for pairing and complementing your meals.
Our top cuvees are offered under the Holloran label, and provide flavors and aromas that are representative of their source vineyard. These reserve wines are from specific tanks or groups of barrels that are chosen for their excellence, and because they reflect the unique characteristics of the varietal and the block where they were grown.
The Holloran AVA (American Viticulture Area) wines are from one or more sites within an AVA. This label represents a premium bottling, where we felt we could make the best wine from blending lots from an area, while highlighting the unique characteristics from that AVA.
