Harvest 2021 has gone very smoothly so far at Holloran Vineyard Wines (HVW), thanks in large part to our extraordinary harvest crew. Let us introduce them to you.
Lexy grew up in Boston, Lexy has a great passion and knowledge for wines; Brandon and Lexy have been actively working on their own wine, and plan to establish their own winery in the near future Brandon (Master Sommelier) is from Colorado.
Brandon has been an MS since 2011, and is a wine expert who always seeks to find the most unique bottles of wine to share with good friends.
Tim is from Michigan and has worked in hospitality for the majority of his career. This is his third harvest in Oregon. Besides working harvest at Holloran this year, he also drove a tractor for HVW this summer, actively participating in our vineyard management.
Grant was raised in Kansas but has fallen in love with the Chicago scene in the past two years. He works in hospitality and beverage retail. For his unhinged summer he decided to pack his bags and come to do harvest in one of his favorite states.
John is from Colorado. He has a great passion for fine dining and hospitality management, and is also a sommelier. John loves the outdoors and good company.
Szilvia was born and raised in Hungary and works in hospitality, spending the last seven years in fine hotels in the mountains of Colorado. She loves to exercise and spend time outdoors, and enjoys exploring different cuisines and cooking.
Kevin Parsons, our full time Assistant Winemaker and director of Custom Crush operations, and Mark LaGasse, our winemaker, round out this excellent team. While the amount of fruit processed this year is substantially higher this year than the last several (better crop and we are selling less fruit to other wineries), it has gone quite smoothly so far.
An amazing team, we thank them for their extraordinary efforts!
