Wine Delivery Couldn’t Be Easier
I was skeptical at first. Can wine really be shipped to my house? Will the bottles be safe? Well, here’s proof that it can be done, and it was easy.
First order of business, pick six bottles of Holloran wine from the website. That was probably the hardest part—which ones to choose. Two days later, the FedEx driver arrived with a package and asked for a signature.
I carefully opened the box to find specialized, recyclable wine packing materials.
After pulling off the top layer of packing material, the first three bottles appeared, snug in their cozy cardboard home.
After removing those bottles the next three bottles were revealed.
And finally, the bottles have found a new home. Now comes the hard part: which one to drink first?

Update on the Growing Season
Growing wine grapes presents different challenges every growing season. This year is no exception, starting with the most widespread frost event in the Willamette Valley since 1980. The frost was followed by a very wet, cold spring, stalling growth in April, May, and early June, which delayed flowering 3-4 weeks later than usual.
