Dark, meat aromas intermix with deep blue and black fruit notes on the nose. The mid-palate presents an array of black and red fruit flavors showing excellent fruit depth. Silky tannins frame the extended finish. Enjoy it with Sautéed Steak with Red Wine & Peppers.
In 2017, bud-break returned to a more normal timing, leading eventually to a mid-October harvest for Temrpanillo. The summer was quite warm, providing excellent conditions for ripening our Tempranillo blocks. Aged 18 months in 10% new French oak barrels.
