This beautiful old-vine Riesling offers aromas of white peach and spice, with a hint of minerality. The mid-palate is ample, with juicy stone fruit flavors, leading to a moderately long finish. Pair with chicken breast stuffed with fig and goat cheese, spicy stir fry dishes, or blue cheese.
The warm, dry summer and fall in 2014 provided plentiful ripe, clean fruit. The hand-harvested grapes are pressed whole cluster, then settled for 2 days. The juice is then moved to a stainless steel tank, where it ferments.
